A collection of more than 20,000 works of art is a living, constantly changing organism: It is exhibited and put into storage, preserved, and restored and continually expanded, newly combined, and presented. Every year, the Aargauer Kunsthaus shows a different selection of collection works on its upper and lower levels. Key works, recent acquisitions as well as seldom or never exhibited works of art enter into a varied dialogue on the topics of Mountains, Nature, and Landscapes.
